Currently, adding Microsoft Office mobile apps for Android and iOS from the app stores takes multiple steps. Today, we are making available a new extension that automatically creates Office mobile apps for iOS and Android. This extension reduce the time it takes to set these mobile apps up, including the process of finding the URLs in the store.
The extension is called Microsoft System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager SP1 Extension for Microsoft Intune: Automatic creation of Microsoft Office mobile apps for iOS and Android. Once enabled, the following Office apps for iOS and Android will be automatically created and available in the Configuration Manager console for you to deploy:
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Microsoft OneDrive
- Microsoft OneNote
- Microsoft Outlook

The Create Microsoft Office mobile apps for iOS and Android extension will appear as a new item in the Extensions for Microsoft Intune node in the Configuration Manager console. To install this extension, select this extension and then click Enable.
