Hello, Windows Insider!
First, we’d like to let you know that we’ve just released another Windows 10 Insider Preview build for PC. You can also find out about the latest Windows 10 Insider Preview build for Mobile. As usual, you’ve got multiple ways to submit your feedback and hear what other Insiders are saying, including the Feedback Hub (now a new app in the Windows 10 Anniversary Update) and our Insider forum.
While you’re helping to build a better Windows, we’d like to remind you that as a Windows Insider, you can also help to build better communities. As we mentioned in our last newsletter, we are busy organizing #WINsiders4Good events for worthy causes all over the world.
Just recently, we wrapped up events in cities across Germany, the UK and the USA – and helped Insiders come up with amazing plans to tackle homelessness and other issues. If you’ve got an cause that you’d like us to support, click here for details about #WINsiders4Good.
Here are a few other items that might interest you:
Productivity Tools for School workshop series. Microsoft stores are currently running a free series of workshops to show students how to be more effective using Microsoft Office, Windows 10 and Surface. There are two, 8-hour workshop series, one for students aged 13-16 and a more advanced workshop for students aged 17+. Click here for details on the workshop nearest you. (Available in Australia, Canada, Puerto Rico and the US.)
Info for Developers
Connect with your customers through Feedback Hub. You already use the Feedback Hub to share feedback about Windows. Now, with the Windows 10 Anniversary update, you can use the Feedback Hub to gather feedback on your own app. Invite your customers to contact you directly with problems and suggestions as alternative to ratings and reviews. You can also view, filter and respond directly to feedback.
UWP Community Toolkit. Following the release of our new Windows Software Developer Kit (SDK) for Windows 10, we just introduced the open-source UWP Community Toolkit, a new project that enables the developer community to collaborate and contribute new capabilities on top of the SDK and simplify app development.

Display scaling for desktop apps. Many desktop applications do not render well on some of the latest high DPI displays. Find out how Windows 10 Anniversary Update can make it easier (and less expensive) for software developers to update their desktop apps to scale properly. Click here to read the blog.
